The general objectives of WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC are to prevent waste of WEEE and to promote the reuse, recycling and recovery of such wastes. It also seeks to improve the environmental performance of all operators involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment.

Steorn is registered with the WEEE Register Society and our Registration Number is 01268W.

EU B2B Customers outside Ireland

As Steorn does not have a physical presence outside Ireland and is therefore a distance seller for the purposes of the WEEE regulations, you are deemed to be the Producer as the importer of product into your Member State. It is therefore your responsibility to comply with your relevant local WEEE regulations such as registration obligations, sound environmental management of product, appropriate treatment and disposal of product, reporting requirements and achievement of recycling targets.

Steorn will, upon your request, provide all relevant product data to help facilitate the above.
