Visit Steorn's Orbo technology demonstration at the Waterways Ireland Visitor Centre in Dublin
What we're doing
We are delighted to announce the live demonstration of Orbo technology. As well as streaming live to the world via steorn.com, we are opening the demonstration to the public for free. Come down to the Waterways Ireland Visitor Centre to see our technology at work.
During December there will be a series of talks about Orbo technology by Steorn CEO, Sean McCarthy. Then in January we will be streaming the validation and replication. Full schedule of events to follow.
Opening hours
Admission is free. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm, and Sundays 12pm to 6pm.

Where it's on
The demo takes place at the Waterways Ireland Visitor Centre, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 4, Ireland.
How to get there
By Train:
Get the DART to Grand Canal Dock. When you disembark, turn left on Barrow Street, take a left again onto Ringsend Road and turn left down Grand Canal Quay towards the Waterways centre.
By Bus
The following buses service Grand Canal Dock: 1, 2, 3, 50, 56A, 77A. You will disembark on Pearse Street. Continue to walk down Pearse Street and you will see Grand Canal Dock on your right.
On Foot
It takes about 20 minutes to walk from O’Connell Bridge. Walk down D’Olier Street and continue down Pearse Street at the junction. After about ten minutes you will come to a tall building and a bridge, just before this bridge you will see the Waterways centre to the right.
By Taxi
From the city centre a taxi should cost about €7 depending on traffic.
By Car
From the Port Tunnel:
Head south on R131/E Wall Rd, going through the toll booth.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto R131/Sean Moore Rd.
Turn right at the end of Sean Moore Rd onto Beach Rd.
Continue onto Bath Street/Irishtown Rd.
Continue onto Bridge St, then onto Ringsend Rd and finally turn left at Grand Canal Quay.
From O’Connell Bridge:
Drive south over O’Connell Bridge heading down D’Olier Street.
Turn left at Townsend St, continuing onto Lower Sandwith St .
Turn left at Pearse St, then right at Grand Canal Quay.
From the South Side:
Drive east along the Grand Canal, turning left at Upper Grand Canal St.
Turn right at Grand Canal Quay.
Parking:
Limited on-street pay-and-display parking is available in the area.
